ALLENTOWN, Pa. (CBS) -- Multiple rowhomes are on fire in Allentown, Pennsylvania on Tuesday afternoon, the fire department said. The fire started around 3 p.m. in the area of 711 N. 7th St.The fire started in one house but jumped to two more homes. So far, no injuries have been reported. Bethlehem City Council holds 5-hour hearing on Hanover Apartments proposal
BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Bethlehem City Council held a five-plus-hour hearing Tuesday night on a developer's request for a "curative amendment" to its zoning ordinance. New Jersey-based BAHX LLC seeks to construct a five-building apartment complex with 317 total units at Hanover Avenue and West Broad Street. Previously home to a Bennett car dealership, the site straddles the border between Allentown and Bethlehem and is currently vacant.
