Dog missing after T-bone collision in Cameron
After an already extremely busy day with several vehicle collisions in Moore County, another occurred Monday evening in Cameron. A deputy with the Moore County Sheriff’s Office was traveling along N.C. 24-27 just after 6:30 p.m. when he approached a collision at the Grady Road and Bryant Road intersection.
Tuesday wreck causes traffic delays in Carthage
On Monday, there were quite a few traffic delays in the Carthage area. Tuesday hasn’t been much different for our growing area and busy highways. Shortly after 1 p.m., emergency responders were notified of a single-vehicle wreck on Highway 15/501, just past Jannie Lane. Two bodies discovered in Carthage fire
Two bodies were discovered in a house fire in Carthage. Multiple fire departments were called to the scene on Union Church Road near New Century Middle School just before midnight Sunday evening. The State Bureau of Investigation, State Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, State Medical Examiner, Moore County Public Safety, Moore County Sheriff’s Department, and EMS were also called to the scene.
