Crash of two semitrailers leads to vehicle fires
MONTVILLE TWP. — A crash on Interstate 71 northbound involving two semitractor-trailors led to two vehicle fires on Wednesday evening, Medina Fire Chief Larry Walters said. At 5:42 p.m. on Wednesday, Medina Fire Department’s duty crew was dispatched for an emergency on I-71 N near the 214-mile marker. Once at the scene, the on-duty lieutenant reported two semitractors collided, resulting in both vehicles catching fire.

Brunswick Schools shows interior design plan for new high school
BRUNSWICK — Community members got an inside look at the new Brunswick High School on Wednesday during a construction update. Scott Alleman from ThenDesign Architecture said the 302,000-square-foot school, which will be on the site of Towslee Elementary School, will have three points of entry. Bus traffic will enter from the west, staff and student parking will be on the north and parents and visitors will use the south entry.
