OTTAWA — Besides indicting a Lima man on charges related to a fatal shooting last week in Leipsic (see Thursday’s Crescent-News), a recent Putnam County grand also returned an indictment against a Melrose man following an alleged domestic incident involving a firearm. Sentenced: James Sebring, 35, 101 Meadowbrook Drive, Defiance, domestic violence, six days jail, $200 fine, no contact with victim; William Jackson II, 40, Paulding, OVI, three days jail, $375 fine, 20 hours community service; Travis Stevenson, 44, Antwerp, domestic violence, two days jail, $250 fine, 40 hours community service, no contact with victim. Timothy Stokes Jr., 36, Oakwood, no operator’s license, $150 fine; failure to control, $100 fine. Marco Morales, 21, Fort Wayne, speed, $45 fine; no safety belt, $30 fine; driving under suspension, dismissed. Armando Mendez Lopez, 43, Fort Wayne, no operator’s license, $125 fine; speed, $45 fine. Putnam common pleas
Garrett Schroeder, 19, Ottawa, pleaded guilty to three counts of unlawful sexual conduct with a minor, one a fourth-degree felony, the other two first-degree misdemeanors; illegal use of minor or impaired person in nudity-oriented material or performance, a fifth-degree felony; and menacing by stalking, a first-degree misdemeanor. A pre-sentence investigation was ordered and his bond was continued. Sentencing was scheduled for May 13. The fifth-degree felony charge was amended from a second-degree felony. Samantha Manson, 42, Grover Hill, pleaded guilty to aggravated possession of drugs, a fifth-degree felony. She was granted drug treatment in lieu of conviction and placed under supervision for two years on condition she complete a treatment program at Westwood Behavioral Health Center. An indictment against Corbin Voirol, Continental, for possession of a fentanyl-related compound, a fifth-degree felony, was dismissed.

The couple have one son, Anthony, and two daughters, Angelina (Nate) Gill and Kristina (Brendon) Bowlin. They also have nine grandchildren: Ethan, Blair, Liam, Anthony, Jensen, Nolan, Logan, Ezra and Jaxon, all of Antwerp.
