Crawford and Shelby County communities come together to pick up after Friday’s tornado
SIOUX CITY (KTIV) -Shelby and Crawford counties in Iowa were some of the last in the path of the destructive storms. And families have been picking up the pieces since the storms passed. One of those families is the Langenfeld family in Harlan, Iowa, their house was one of the many devastated in the storm Friday night.

(Atlantic) Steps of Hope placed a Naloxone box at the Atlantic Public Library Saturday afternoon. Ann Breeding lost her son Daniel in 2020 from a substance use disorder. She said she started doing an annual walk on Daniel’s birthday (May 20th) to raise awareness. The next goal was to increase the accessibility to Naloxone to reduce overdose deaths.

Atlantic RAGBRAI Vendor Forms Now Available
Kelsi Beschorner, Atlantic RAGBRAI Publicity Chair, says the housing forms are now being accepted for RAGBRAI 2024. She says all forms can be found at www.atlanticragbrai.com or the Atlantic Area Chamber of Commerce at 102 Chestnut Street. Vending fees for local non-profit vendors are $150. Fees for local and for-profit vendors are $350. For any non-local vendor wishing to participate in Atlantic RAGBRAI, the fee will be $600. There is a $100 refundable clean-up deposit and a $50 electrical fee for vendors that need electricity.
