The family of Justin Argenti, who was hit while riding his electric scooter on Sept. 9, 2023, at the intersection of West Rotunda Parkway and Academy Boulevard, has now filed a civil rights complaint with the Department of Justice.

CAPE CORAL, Fla. — Thousands of people in northeast Cape Coral will get partial refunds on the UEP costs, thanks to a new grant. The state is awarding the city of Cape Coral a $25 million water quality improvement grant for its utilities extension project, or UEP.
