Presentation on new book, 'Veterans in Crisis,' planned for Red Wing on June 21
A box of “Veterans in Crisis” books were recently donated to the Dakota County and Goodhue County Sheriffs and jail staff by Rochester nonprofit Veterans Empowered Inc. The book was written by Dr. Steve Lansing and Colonel B. Wayne Quist and was released on Memorial Day this year. Volume Two will be released on November 11, Veterans Day. The authors are printing 10,000 copies of their book to be given away free to disabled veterans with PTSD and to first responders, law enforcement, firemen, EMTs, etc.
