(FOX40.COM) — An early-morning rollover crash in Yuba City on Monday left a 28-year-old man dead and another adult and a child with injuries, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The agency said the crash happened on northbound Highway 99 just south of Richland Road., around 2:07 a.m.

The driver of the vehicle died after being ejected from the vehicle during the crash, the CHP said.

Witnesses who spoke with the CHP said the vehicle was heading northbound and “weaving heavily, unable to maintain its lane,” the CHP said.

After passing the intersection with Lincoln Road, the vehicle entered the paved center divide and turned sharply to the right, then drove onto the right shoulder before turning sharply to the left and overturning, the CHP said.
