We’ve seen another somewhat gloomy day, with a mixture of clouds, sunny breaks, and scattered showers popping up during the daytime hours, activity is expected to taper off this evening, as low pressure develops to the south of the state. This brings downstate some steadier showers over the weekend, and leave us with uncertainty in terms of how much cloud cover we end up seeing. Saturday continues to lean mostly cloudy, with Sunday featuring a better chance at sunshine during the morning.

PRESQUE ISLE, Maine (WAGM) - Good evening everyone on this Memorial Day. We’ve seen a soggy day across the region today with rain working through the state. Showers for us tapered off during the afternoon hours, with skies expected to clear out overnight tonight. We’ll see sunshine and mild temperatures for a good portion of Tuesday, before another disturbance arrives for the late afternoon hours. This brings the threat of showers and possible thunderstorms to the forecast late in the afternoon tomorrow, with chances of activity continuing into tomorrow night. We’ll remain unsettled the remainder of the work week, with lighter shower chances in store later this week.

PRESQUE ISLE, Maine (WAGM) - Good evening everyone and happy Monday. We’ve seen an okay day across the region today, with cloud cover building into the region ahead of a cold front. This cold front builds towards the state tomorrow, but isn’t expected to work through until late tomorrow night into the day Wednesday. We’ll see the threat of showers and thunderstorms tomorrow, with temperatures having no problem warming up into the upper 70s and lower 80s. Additional shower chances are possible Wednesday, with the cold front bringing colder temperatures for the latter half of the work week.
