PRESQUE ISLE, Maine (WAGM) - Good evening everyone and happy Monday. We’ve seen wet weather across the state today with low pressure sitting to the north of us. A warm front is expected to work through later tonight, bringing today’s round of precipitation to an end. Skies remain cloudy overnight into tomorrow, with our next system bringing more shower chances to the forecast for tomorrow evening and tomorrow night. The remainder of the work week looks unsettled with temperatures slowly warming up.

PRESQUE ISLE, Maine (WAGM) - Good evening everyone and happy Friday. We’ve seen another day of mild temperatures today with some sunshine seen ahead of the cold front approaching the state. This has brought showers back to the region during the afternoon hours, lasting into this evening. We’ll see cloud cover linger into the start of the weekend, with temperatures Saturday cooler than what we’ve been seeing the past few days. Sunday brings a return to sunshine, with temperatures climbing back into the mid to upper 40s.

We’ll continue this nicer weather tomorrow, with high pressure still in control out in the Atlantic. Changes arrive late tomorrow night with a quick round of showers. Additional shower chances are likely for the end of the work week, with showers beginning Friday afternoon, lasting into Friday night.

Active weather builds back in for the end of the work week, with snow transitioning over to sleet and freezing rain heading into Friday. The latest computer model runs continue to show colder air locked in at the surface, meaning concerns are there for travel for much of the day Friday, with temperatures not expected to rise above freezing until the afternoon hours.

More snow showers are possible the second half of the weekend, with activity looking more impressive in nature Sunday. Shower chances linger into the start of the new work week, with a mix of snow and rain showers likely for Monday.
