Katahdin Baseball team looks to return to Northern Regional Championship game
STACYVILLE, Maine (WAGM) - The Katahdin Cougars baseball team is looking for another successful season and a deep run in the playoffs. The Cougars made it to the Northern Regoinal Championship game last year. They lost to Bangor Christian in the title game last June. Coach Tim Thoreson says the team is excited to get the new season started.

Sherman business destroyed by fire will not rebuild
SHERMAN -- A big loss to the Sherman community as a business that was recently destroyed in a fire announced they would not be able to rebuild. According to the Sherman Fire Chief Thomas Hayes, crews responded to the Metal Works automotive body shop on the Station Road just before 7 p.m. Thursday.

I think Pohlhaus is a sad, pathetic, hateful character — as tends to be the case for all white nationalists like him — who founded the organization Bluttstamm (Blood Tribe). He had recruited, at the time, a small number of like-minded racists to the state, and intended his facility to be used to train these individuals in the use of weapons and other physical training. Pohlhaus has since sold the property and is no longer in the state.
