Wytheville man arrested for possession and selling illegal drugs
WYTHEVILLE, Va. (WDBJ) - A Wytheville man has been arrested for the possession and selling of illegal drugs, according to the Wythe County Sheriff’s Office. On Tuesday, members of the Wythe County Sheriff’s Office Drug Task Force and Tactical Team executed a search warrant at a residence on West Monroe St. in the Town of Wytheville. Deputies seized 341 grams of Methamphetamine, 14 grams of Cocaine, and 223 grams of Psilocybin Mushrooms. In addition, $5,986 was also seized from the home and vehicle.

GALAX, Va. (WSET) — The Galax Fire Department said there was a wind-driven fire on Saturday. Firefighters said at 5:29 p.m., they were dispatched to a brush fire in the 400 block of Live Oak Lane. Arriving units found a wind-driven fire with one structure threatened and crowning trees.
