DAVENPORT, Iowa — The Davenport Fire Department responded to a structure fire and removed multiple pets from harm's way Wednesday morning. 2 dead in separate crashes at same location on I-88 in East Moline
EAST MOLINE, Ill. — Officials say two people are dead after two separate crashes on I-88 in East Moline Wednesday morning. According to the East Moline Police Department, the first crash occurred on I-88 westbound, just east of Exit 2 around 8 a.m. Authorities found that a box truck had struck the rear end of a semi truck that was entering the roadway from the shoulder. The box truck driver was removed from the vehicle and transported to a local hospital, where he later died. His identity is being withheld pending notification of family.
