    Pickup driver killed in collision with semi-trailer in southern Minnesota

    A pickup driver was killed in a collision with a semi-trailer in southern Minnesota on Tuesday.

    The Minnesota State Patrol says the collision happened around 5:15 p.m. on Highway 59 in Worthington Township, Nobles County.

    Killed in the collision was Codey Fisher, 33, of Worthington, who was driving a GMC Sonoma that was in a head-on collision with a Trao semi-truck.

    The driver of the semi, a 45-year-old man from Shevlin, Minnesota, suffered non-life-threatening injuries.

    No information has been provided by the Minnesota State Patrol as to how the vehicles came to collide.

    Fisher was wearing a seat belt, the state patrol says.
