Pike man charged with assaulting neighbor with large stick

PIKEVILLE, Ky. — A Pike County man is facing a felony charge for allegedly attacking a neighbor with a large stick. A state trooper was called Thursday morning to the Veterans Transitional Housing Center on Douglas Parkway over a report of two residents fighting. The person who reported the incident said the two men had gotten into a fight the evening before, and that one of the men, 48-year-old Killis Jones, went back to the other’s apartment that morning to assault him again.
