Statement from Commissioner Jeffrey Nash
The statement below is by Commissioner Jeffrey Nash on behalf of the Board of Commissioners in regard to the planned boycott of Jewish-owned businesses in Philadelphia. “The planned boycott of Jewish-owned businesses in Rittenhouse is an appalling act of hatred, bigotry, and intimidation towards the Jewish community. Furthermore, the decision to hold this boycott on the eve of the 88th anniversary of Kristallnacht, an infamous night of terror towards the Jewish community and in particular Jewish-owned businesses, is deeply disturbing.
