The Bridgeport High School baseball team improved to 31-4 following a 2-0 victory against Williamstown on Thursday. Three BHS pitchers combined for a four-hit shutout. Connor Blake picked up the win, allowing two hits over four innings with no walks and six strikeouts. Carson Currey pitched two strong innings of relief, allowing two hits and one walk with three strikeouts. Justin Duvall closed the door, earning a save with a perfect seventh inning that saw him strike out all three batters he faced.

Masuk Panthers finish season strong, head into playoffs
MONROE, CT — Masuk High’s baseball team finished its regular season with three consecutive wins, all shutouts, and carry some momentum into the postseason. Coach Brian Hourigan’s Panthers are 10-10, a record that qualifies them for the Class L State Tournament.
