PI Works to Improve the City’s Storm Drain System
PRESQUE ISLE, Maine (WAGM) — A section of State Street in Presque Isle is closed to traffic as crews work to replace part of the city’s storm water drain system. According to city officials, Presque Isle Public Works began the infrastructure project Monday morning, focusing on the area between Judd Street and the former Steaks and Stuff Market. The road closure is expected to continue through Thursday, October 9th. City officials are asking residents to seek alternative routes during the construction period.
