    Potential electrical issue sparks fire at Harry’s Old Place Restaurant in Polk County

    WINTER HAVEN, Fla. (WFLA) — An electrical issue is believed to be what sparked the devastating fire at Harry’s Old Place Restaurant in Winter Haven on Monday afternoon.

    Polk County Fire Rescue was dispatched shortly after noon for a structure fire at the restaurant.

    Within five minutes of being dispatched, crews arrived at the scene and found smoke coming from the back of the eatery and began quickly working to extinguish the fire.

    According to PCFR, eight units responded to the scene, along with the Winter Haven Fire Department. No injuries were reported.
