Two suspects were located after a bank robbery, according to officers with the Winston-Salem Police Department. On Wednesday, just before 3 p.m., WSPD officers responded to a reported bank robbery at Wells Fargo, located at 4626 Country Club Road. Employees told officers that a suspect, who they described as a black man wearing a white T-shirt and black mask, went to the cashier and passed a note demanding money.

North Carolina man charged with threatening Georgia rabbi, DOJ says
MACON, Ga. (WBTV) - A North Carolina man is in custody and federally charged with allegedly mailing an antisemitic threat to a Georgia rabbi. According to the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Middle District of Georgia, Ariel E. Collazo Ramos, 31, of High Point, is charged with one count of mailing threatening communications. The indictment was returned by a federal grand jury on April 9 and was unsealed on May 2. Collazo Ramos was taken into custody at his High Point home Thursday.

Triad dentist facing alarming allegations of malpractice
WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — UPDATE: WFMY News 2 reached out to the state dentistry board to learn why Dr. Kelly's offices remained open despite his license being revoked. The state board said Dr. Kelly has filed an appeal and the court allowed his offices to remain open until the hearing on May 8.
