Arriving deputies learned 21-year-old Preston Wilson Fansler had been shot. He was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Investigators say Fansler and another male got into a fight, and Fansler fired several shots at the male victim.

The male victim was not injured and shot Fansler.

Investigators also say Fansler had assaulted a female during a gathering at the same location.

Fansler has been charged with one felony count of assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill and one misdemeanor count of assault on a female.

At this time, the male victim will not face any charges, deputies say.
