Eggs Up Grill opens in Winston-Salem summer 2024

Childhood friends Dedi Gaither and Heather Vuncannon, who were both raised in the Triad region, will operate the new franchise.



“So many people are excited to finally have an Eggs Up Grill in Winston-Salem, because there is nothing like it here,” said Vuncannon. “As customers ourselves, we always felt like Eggs Up Grill makes you feel like you are getting a big hug.”

And that hug extends even further. While you’re chowing down on a classic Belgian waffle, you’ll also be supporting a good cause. The owners plan to support people and children with autism + educators in the community.



"[...] as a former educator, I expect to support area schools by showing our appreciation for all of the staff in schools that support students,” Vuncannon said. “From bus drivers and custodians, to teachers and administrators, we realize that they all make a tremendous contribution each day to support students and families.”



The 2,809-sqft restaurant will have seating for 108 people indoors + outdoor seating for eight outdoors. Guests can fill up from the full menu everyday from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m.



Signature menu items include the founder’s recipe corned beef hash with potatoes, made-to-order omelets, and grilled blueberry muffins. Lunch selections include burgers, melts, salads and more.
