During the high school football season, Star Local Media will preview and predict the winners of 10 in-market games each week as part of its annual Pick-It Line. Below is a look throughout SLM’s coverage area at the season's Week 11 slate of ballgames. Allen vs. Prosper Walnut Grove 7 p.m. Thursday at Eagle Stadium Allen captured its third straight district championship last week in routing McKinney Boyd, 58-14. The Eagles have the chance to complete their third consecutive unbeaten regular season with a win on Friday against a talented Walnut Grove squad. The Eagles are ranked No. 2 in Class 6A and have looked the part during a resounding 2026 campaign that has produced a 9-0 record with an average margin of victory of 44.4 points. With next-level talent impacting all three phases, Allen has put many of its recent district games out of reach in the first half, and the Wildcats will look to buck that trend with an offense that sits right behind the Eagles in the area rankings at 467.7 yards per game.
