Madison students place second in national competition
MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) - Madison-area students placed second in a Junior Investment Club competition at the 100 Black Men of American annual conference in Atlanta on Thursday. The students were awarded $750 for the accomplishment. The competition’s sponsor, Wells Fargo, also gave an additional $5,000 to the chapter to celebrate their top-five placement.
UW-Madison to develop first OB-GYN rural track program in the US
MADISON, Wis. -- The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services awarded $750,000 to the University of Wisconsin-Madison on Thursday, directed toward the establishment of new residency programs in rural communities.

Ending the year on a happy note
The 2023-24 school year has officially come to an end, and Sugar Creek Elementary School kindergartners are finishing it on a happy note. Sugar Creek has celebrated the last day of school with a kindergarten picnic and sing-along for decades now.
