Petty Officer 2nd Class Ryan Beverly, a native of Kyle, is serving in the Navy Medicine Readiness and Training Command Guam. Beverly graduated from Hayes High School in 2014. Library kicks off summer reading program
, , , Wimberley Village Youth Summer Reading Program kicked off last week with a Mad Hatter Pirate show, a petting zoo, snow cones, face painting, hot dogs, and booths staffed by Master Gardeners and Master Naturalists. 4-H members from Hays County 4-H participated at Texas 4-H Roundup in Bryan/ College Station, June 3 through 6. Texas 4-H Roundup, the pinnacle event for all of Texas 4-H, welcomed around 1,300 senior-level, or highschool- aged, youth to compete in approximately 50 diverse competitions, educational workshops, career learning opportunities and more throughout the week.
