In 1989, Bishop Claudie H. Wilkins heard the greater call from God to be a pastor. From there, he and his wife, Missionary Deloris Wilkins, and family moved to Williamston, where Little Thankful Holy Church was founded.

It began with only five members in the living room of his aunt, Mrs. Naomi Griffin.

Bishop Wilkins, following the instruction of the Holy Spirit, ventured to locate a building for worship. God blessed and, in 1989, the church moved to a storefront on 110 Washington St. beside R & C Restaurant.

On December 21, 1992, Little Thankful Holy Church became an active charter with its location on Washington Street. The church relocated to 606 South Sycamore St,, using only half of the building, while the remaining half served as the town’s pool hall. The church was blessed to acquire the entire building and in 1994, this property was purchased.

In 2004, Bishop Wilkins was consecrated to the office of a Bishop in the International Council of Pentecostal Ministries by the Presiding Prelate of ICOPM, the honorable Bishop William S. Spain.

In 2005, Bishop Wilkins met with the late Overseer Shirley T. Powell and they formed Love-N-Fellowship Ministries, Inc. He was appointed as the Presiding Prelate of Love-N-Fellowship Ministries, Inc., an interdependent, interdenominational, international fellowship of churches and ministries dedicated to perfecting the church and affecting the communities they serve.

From 1989 to the present, Little Thankful Holy Church and since June 2018, known as Little Thankful Praise and Presence Ministry continues to serve the Lord, the people and the community at hand.

From five members to now over 100 members on the roll, God continuously blesses, pouring His spirit in the sanctuary as LTPPM is known for “praising God” through song, worship and praise.

Many come that may not be actual members on the roll, but all are blessed during their stay. LTPPM stands on the Word with the focus scripture being 2 Peter 1:9 — “But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvelous light.”

Little Thankful Praise & Presence Ministry will always give God His due praise and will continue to be known to all as a “Praise Ministry.”

In 2019, Bishop started the “Jesus Be Praised” Movement to encourage people to recognize and speak the name of Jesus even more. Jesus be praised.
