Wrapping up the Fine Arts Fiesta in Wilkes-Barre

WILKES-BARRE, LUZERNE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — Another annual local celebration of the arts is in the books. The 68th Fine Arts Fiesta wrapped up at 5:00 p.m. in Downtown Wilkes-Barre.

Many may go for all sorts of food, and free live entertainment at the four-day event on Public Square .

However, the signature purpose is to showcase various art mediums from vendors near and far.

“I’d say it gives us great exposure. We’re not too far from Tannersville where we are normally at. We travel a lot New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania so it’s nice to be closer to home than have to travel,” said Sherri’s Crab Cakes Cook Andre Marshall.

Organizers say they will meet next month to critique this year’s fine arts fiesta and return better than ever next May.
