WILKES-BARRE, LUZERNE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — Wilkes-Barre Area High School hosted its annual Positive Behavior Pep Rally in support of its unified track team.

Students and students with special needs work together to show unity and inclusion within our school community.

During the pep rally, there was a special event for the students.

A group of teachers also participated in a special faculty fun run but with a twist.

Unknown to the students, teachers took part in the fun run while wearing inflatable costumes.

“You do good things, and you want to get rewarded for that. I feel like our students really look forward to these events that we have, each quarter we do something different,” said Wilkes-Barre Area Teacher and Positive Behavior Coordinator Keryn Bevan

On May 2, the Wilkes-Barre Area will host its home meet games against Valley West and Dallas’ unified teams.
