“Dad’s Dash” held in honor of Father’s Day
SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) - It’s Father’s Day and one Savannah native is giving back to the community that raised him. Ahead of Father’s Day, Rashamod Torrance hosted a Dad’s Dash, a 5k run for fathers. He’s the founder of an organization called Active Dads which gives fathers a place to speak their mind, connect with other dads and find community. Something Torrance says, is needed.
Savannah/Hilton Head airport increasing parking fees 50% in effort to add needed spots
The higher rates will help fund the construction of a new parking lot and garage at the international airport, which currently depends on overflow parking on its busiest days.
