Student presented Charlotte Yokley Award
A Mount Airy senior was recently honored with the 2024 Charlotte Weatherly Yokley Memorial Award. Ella Brant, daughter of Jayne and Tim Brant, received the award during the May 3 Mount Airy High School Honors Program. Ella is a member of the National Honor Society, varsity tennis team, and held several elected offices during her high school career. She plans to attend UNC-Chapel Hill in the fall. Presenting the award was Luke Graham and Charlotte’s mother, Pam Yokley.
Mount Airy outlasts Thomasville 1-0 to reach regional semifinal

Chairman's Cup up for grabs at Cross Creek
The Greater Mount Airy Chamber of Commerce is preparing to hit the links with its annual Chairman’s Cup Golf Tournament.
