WHITE DEER TWP., UNION COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — A school bus losing control led to a crash that sent one to the hospital, PSP stated.

According to Pennsylvania State Police, on Friday around 6:50 a.m., troopers were called to investigate a school bus crash.

Police say the crash happened when a school bus for the Milton School District exited River Road in White Deer Township when one of the wheels drove through asphalt causing the bus to lose control.

The school bus swerved and hit a guardrail, sideswiping a utility pole, then fell down an embankment, sticking a ditch, troopers said.

PSP noted an adult sitting in the passenger seat behind the driver was taken to the hospital for a possible shoulder injury.

The school bus driver was not injured and no children were on board at the time of the crash.
