Ezequiel Medina Parra, a 34-year-old West Seattle man accused of shooting a King County deputy in Shoreline, pled not guilty to all charges filed against him on Monday. Parra was arrested on March 5 after he allegedly opened fire on a King County Sheriff’s deputy. He was booked into the King County Jail on $3 million bail. On Monday, Parra was charged with first-degree assault, reckless endangerment, obstructing a law enforcement officer, and unlawful discharge of a dangerous weapon.

No injuries reported after vessel sinks in Ballard
SEATTLE — An investigation is underway after a boat sunk in Ballard's Salmon Bay on Monday morning. The Seattle Fire Department tweeted at 10:48 a.m. that crews were on the scene on the 5300 block of 26th Avenue Northwest as two decommissioned vessels were sinking. The U.S. Coast Guard (USCG) was also on the scene, according to the fire department.
