Car crashes into home on Route 202 in Westfield

WESTFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) – A crash on Union Avenue in Westfield damaged a home Monday morning.

Our 22News crew could see a home on Union Avenue with the front steps destroyed in the crash. A light pole in front of the home was also removed due to damage.

According to Waze, traffic was heavy on the northbound side of Route 202 into the Park Square area of downtown as well as on Franklin Street for roughly an hour before crews were able to clean up the incident.

Traffic in the area has returned to normal. It is unknown at this time if anyone was injured in the crash.
