Babies R Us locations are expected to open this year at several Kohl’s stores in Westchester County and the Lower Hudson Valley. USA Today reported that Kohl’s is teaming with WHO Global – Babies R Us’ parent company — to open the stores. The seven stores coming to the Lower Hudson Valley are among 200 expected to open around the country. The first locations are projected to open in August, with the rest opening through the fall.

A New Rochelle man was arrested Sunday in connection to a baseball bat assault that left two men hospitalized. New Rochelle Police Capt. J. Collins Coyne said a 36-year-old man and his 66-year-old uncle were attacked with a baseball bat at 3:45 a.m. Sunday on the corner of Washington Avenue and Fourth Street, several blocks from Montefiore New Rochelle Hospital and not far from the Pelham line.
MTA To Release 50,000 Ice Spice MetroCards At Midnight
The MTA is dropping a limited quantity of special-edition Ice Spice MetroCards starting at midnight, May 13th! There will be a total of 50,000 Ice Spice MetroCards released to the public at stations across the Bronx and Manhattan. The exciting MTA collaboration with Capital Records is happening prior to the Bronx-native rapper’s debut album “Y2K” that’s expected to be released sometime this year.
