West Monroe Brown Bag Lunch Concert Series to take place each Wednesday at Noon in May

WEST MONROE, La. (KTVE/KARD)– On Wednesday, May 1, 2024, the first concert will be held and continue each Wednesday at noon for all 5 Wednesdays. According to officials, the first concert will feature Bill Haley, May 8th will feature John Love, May 15th will feature Jade Reynolds, May 22nd will feature Rex Bolls and the final concert on May 29th will feature Alice Profit.

This event will occur at the Seventh Square Pavilion in West Monroe, located directly behind the West Monroe Farmer’s Market. The West Monroe Brown Bag Lunch Concert Series will be presented by the WMWO Chamber of Commerce and the City of West Monroe.

This event is open and free to the public. According to officials, Newk’s Eatery will be selling bagged lunches on-site that include a half sandwich, bag of chips, and half dessert. Lunches will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis. The audience is welcome to bring a brown bag lunch while enjoying the musical performances.

According to officials, sponsors will provide chairs complimentary beverages, and desserts. The Brown Bag Lunch Concert Series will continue in West Monroe with a spring series on Wednesdays in May.
