    18-year-old arrested for fatal shooting at Copiah County truck stop

    COPIAH COUNTY, Miss. ( WJTV ) – Authorities have arrested the suspect wanted in connection to a fatal shooting at a Copiah County truck stop.

    Investigators said 18-year-old Tarayvian Miller was arrested after he allegedly carjacked another person on Thursday, May 16. The carjacking happened on the Martinsville Exit off of Interstate 55.

    Mississippi inmate accused of identity theft, wire fraud

    Copiah County deputies said Miller was captured in West Memphis, Arkansas.

    Miller has been accused of killing 60-year-old Vincent Ratliff at the Wesson Truck Stop on Interstate 55. The shooting happened on Tuesday, May 14.

    Copiah County deputies said Ratliff was carjacked, shot and later died at a hospital. Investigators said they found Ratliff’s car a short distance later, and it had been abandoned.
