Lady Pirates Slowpitch Stars Honored
Congratulations to Preston High School’s Na’Braijhanae Phillips and Celeste Pineda for being selected to the Slowpitch Heartland All-Conference Team. Also, congratulations to Taylan Starr, who was named Slowpitch Heartland Conference Defensive Player of the Year.

The Henryetta Lady Knight Track and Field Team won their Class 3A Regional Meet in Prague. The Lady Knights finished with 147 team points and scored gold in four individual races and two relays, and earned several silver and bronze medals at the meet.

The field is set for the State 2A Baseball Tournament Thursday as the Preston Pirates under Coach Ryan Hudson join seven other teams in Shawnee. Coach Hudson, Assistant Coach Cody McCart and the Pirates punched their ticket to State after winning the Class 2A Regional Tournament convincingly at home with three straight wins. The Pirates are 25-3, and currently ranked number #5 in the State of Oklahoma.

Lady Knights Take 6th at State
The Henryetta Lady Knights tennis team battled their way to a 6th place finish at the Oklahoma High School Tennis State Championships last week after two long days of competing against some of the top players in the state. Abbi Dodge placed 5th in 1 Singles and Connie Dong placed 6th in 2 Singles, while Casi Bailey and Emma Thompson finished 4th in 1 Doubles and Brooke Bailey and Stormy Miller qualified in 2 Doubles.
