WEIRTON, W.Va. (WTRF) — You know DeFelice Bros. Pizza for their twice-baked crust, and for always having a heart on Valentine’s Day.

But it hasn’t been known as an option for fans of Italian food in Hancock County—until now.

You asked, and they delivered…DeFelice Brothers Pizza is back on Three Springs Drive in Weirton, complete with a drive-thru window.

The 10-location chain held its soft opening on Friday, sending breadsticks, wings, calzones and diavolos through the conveyor oven.

Rising rents caused them to regretfully close up shop down the street in 2015, but they found a new storefront after fans pressed for their return.

“A lot of people, they know we care. You know, we’re family owned and our franchise is a family. All of our people and everybody cares. And the one thing, if you talk to people, they know that we might not always make everything right, but if we make it wrong, we’ll make it right.”

Dominic DeFelice, President and Owner, DeFelice Brothers Pizza Inc.

While the store is still in the training phase, it’s open from 11 to 7 every day and offering a 20 percent off discount on first orders through its app.

And with May upon us, DeFelice and his staff have the ground beef and lettuce ready for a Cinco de Mayo taco pizza.
