    Students put on Jim Schoemehl Run for ALS

    WEBSTER GROVES, Mo. — Today marked the 23rd annual Jim Schoemehl Run for ALS , hosted at Webster Groves High School. The event, which Alicia Schoemehl, Jim’s widow and a teacher at the school, organized entirely with the help of her marketing students, aims to raise money for local ALS-affected families.

    Jim Schoemehl, diagnosed with ALS, also known as Lou Gehrig’s Disease, in 2001, passed away from it two years later. Since its inception, the event has successfully raised over $300,000.
