Kentucky's Court of Appeals has upheld the firing of a former Louisville Metro Police Department officer who fired the shot that killed Breonna Taylor. Littlest students honor Alliance High Class of 2024
Members of Alliance High School’s Class of 2024 added a new activity to the process of gearing up for commencement exercises. The graduates were divided into four groups and visited younger Alliance City Schools students while wearing their caps and gowns. The event, called the Senior Graduation Parade, was reminiscent of clap-out events held at area schools when students or sports teams head out for a big competition. The graduates stopped in at Alliance Early Learning School; Alliance Elementary School; Alliance Intermediate School; and Alliance Middle School. The visits were attended by students in grades kindergarten through eight. While walking through the schools, the students got to see former teachers and accept well-wishes. The Class of 2024 from Alliance and Sebring McKinley High Schools took part in graduation exercises Sunday at their respective schools.
