Meteorologist Stephen Puglisi's Tuesday AM Forecast 8/11/26
The active weather pattern continues across the area today as more severe thunderstorms are likely to occur at any given time today. The best chance this afternoon appears to be centered south of Lima, but everyone could certainly see a high wind gust and small hail during your Tuesday. The storms gradually pull away later this evening and tomorrow looks to be dry in the morning before showers and storms return later in the afternoon, although they won't be nearly as widespread or as strong as today. Can we dry out for the weekend and early next week? Find out in the forecast!

Pleasant weather has arrived in the area, and it's here to stay for a while! The heavy pre-dawn rain has moved off to our east, and we expect a pleasant partly to mostly sunny day across the area with highs in the low to mid 80s this afternoon. Tomorrow looks even better, with mostly to completely sunny skies and temperatures close to 80. Unfortunately, the weekend does not look all that pleasant as showers return to the forecast. Find out when we could be seeing more rain in the forecast!

Milwaukee Chicago Fort Wayne and Toledo Face Isolated Tornado Threat Monday With Discrete Supercells Possible in Zone of Stronger Low Level Wind Shear
CHICAGO — A chance for isolated tornadoes spans an area from southeastern Wisconsin into northwestern Ohio Monday, July 27, with the threat heavily dependent on whether supercells can remain semi-discrete within a zone of stronger low-level wind shear, forecasters said in an outlook updated at 6:54 a.m. ET. The 2 percent tornado probability zone stretches across a broad swath of the upper Midwest and western Great Lakes.
