Physical therapy service open house in Watervliet

WATERVLIET, N.Y. ( NEWS10 ) — A local health center highlighted some of the new services they are offering to patients. Whitney Young Health hosted an open house for their physical therapy officer at the clinic on Second Avenue in Watervliet.

They have offered physical therapy for about eight months, but doctors wanted to give the public a chance to see the clinic for themselves. They hope the facility will make PT more accessible.

“There’s really not a lot of physical therapy officers in Watervliet itself,” Dr. Dayle Carhart-Davis said. “They’re mostly in Troy or Latham, so this is a really nice place for patients to come who live in Watervliet, especially if they take the bus or need to walk or pay someone to get a ride here.”

Appointments can be made by calling Whitney Young Health at (518) 833-6900. Patients needs a referral from their doctor first.
