Santos announces he'll return to Dayton
DAYTON, OHIO (WKEF/WRGT) - Nate Santos, the second-leading scorer for the Dayton Flyers in 2023-24, announced on Saturday he would return to the Flyers for the 2024-25 season. Santos - who announced his intention to enter the transfer portal last week - joined UD last year after two seasons at the University of Pittsburgh, and would score at least 10 points in five of his first six games with the Flyers. Santos reached his season-high with 26 points in December against Grambling State, and would be named to the Atlantic 10 Third Team. His 11.7 point-per-game average was only topped by DaRon Holmes II.
