DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – The UD men’s basketball team received another commitment this off-season via the transfer portal, as former Butler and St. John’s guard Posh Alexander becomes the third player to join the Flyers this spring.

Alexander made the big announcement on his social media Friday evening.

The 6-foot guard averaged 11.3 points, 4.9 assists and 4.6 rebounds in his lone season for the Bulldogs last year.

Prior to his time at Butler in 2023-24, Alexander spent two seasons at St. John’s where he earned the Big East’s Freshman and Defensive Player of the Year awards.

Alexander will use his last year of eligibility to play his fifth and final season with the Flyers.

Alexander joins Ohio Stat’s Zed Key and Marshall’s Jacob Conner as the three players out of the portal to commit to Dayton.
