    Police: 4 in custody after long pursuit around DMV

    PRINCE GEORGE’S COUNTY, Md. ( DC News Now ) — Four people were taken into custody after leading police on a chase through Maryland and into Virginia before stopping in D.C.

    The Prince George’s County Police Department (PGPD) said officers saw a carjacked vehicle around 7:30 p.m. Tuesday. When officers tried to conduct a traffic stop on the car, that’s when the chase began.

    The vehicle fled starting from Prince George’s County. They entered Virginia and then eventually, the car came to a stop in Washington, D.C.

    Four people were taken into custody. At least two of them were male but their ages were not yet known, according to PGPD.

    The situation was still being investigated.
