WARREN, Ohio (WKBN) — A Warren woman was charged with felonious assault after an altercation with a relative last Friday.

According to a police report, dispatch received a call at around 6 p.m. on May 3 about a stabbing that happened in the 2000 block of Burton St. SE. The victim was at Trumbull Regional Medical Center.

Officers talked to the victim at the hospital where he told them that he and Katina Weaver, 29, got into an argument at the Burton Street house and when he tried to leave, the man said that Weaver grabbed a kitchen knife and stabbed him three times in the hand, according to a police report.

The victim’s injuries were minor and treated at the hospital.

Weaver was arraigned on Monday and pleaded not guilty. She is due back in court next Monday, May 13.
