If you have a beloved family pet — or looking to perhaps pick up a potential new family member from one of several Bucks County animal rescue organizations — then you should plan to check out the "Arts and Barks Pet and Family Fest" in the first weekend of June.
Here's everything you and your personable pooch need to know about the upcoming festival.
'Arts and Barks' events for pet owners, children
In its Facebook post, organizers of the "Arts and Barks" festival said it would be a pet- and family-friendly event.
"Hart 2 Heart is so excited to be a part of this event. A festival full of pet related vendors, crafters, artisans, food trucks, music, animal rescues with adoptable dogs/cats, balloon twisters, face painting, petting zoo and much much more," read a portion of the Facebook post and invite. "In-person community event in Warminster Community Park. Come join the fun and bring your leashed furry friends."

The lineup of events for children includes a face painting station, petting zoo, a mini horse kissing booth, sandbar and balloon art and routines from K-9 units from area police departments.

Bucks County animal rescue centers will be at 'Arts and Barks'
Looking to adopt a new family pet? Several Bucks County animal shelters will be on hand at "Arts and Barks" to provide advice on rehoming a pet and setting up potential pet owners for the next step in the adoption process.
So far, the Hart 2 Heart Animal Rescue organization — the prime sponsor for the "Arts and Barks" festival - has confirmed the following animal rescue organizations will have booths at the festival:

The 2024 Bucks "Arts and Barks Pet and Family Fest" will begin at 11 a.m. on Sunday, June 2, at the Warminster Community Park, 350 East Bristol Road, Warminster.
