CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) - The Charleston Police Department said they have made an arrest in a fatal hit-and-run crash that left two women dead over the weekend. Max David Gentilin, 25, of Charleston, is charged with two counts of leaving the scene of an accident causing death, police department spokesperson Sgt. Chris Stinson said.

CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) - A North Charleston man will spend the next five years behind bars after being sentenced for attempting to mail cocaine from California to his home. Omar Sexton, 43, was sentenced to 60 months in federal prison and four years of court-ordered supervision after pleading guilty to conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute cocaine.

MOUNT PLEASANT, S.C. (WCIV) — A Mount Pleasant man returned home from a funeral in Virginia to discover his home was burglarized and his firearms were stolen. According to the Mount Pleasant Police Department (MPPD), an AR-15 rifle valued at $500, a Glock 30 handgun valued at $600, various calibers of ammunition valued at $300, and storage boxes for the rifle and handgun were stolen from a residence on Sparks Street. The total value of the stolen items is $1,400.
