This situation garnered ample attention from a Facebook post on the Berkeley County Growth and Development page and now regular commuters in that area are speaking up.
New major development coming to Berkeley County
CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) - A new subdivision with 233 single-family homes will be coming to the area of Cainhoy Road and Clements Ferry Road. The Cainhoy Del Webb subdivision has had a bit of a hold-up because of wetlands and stormwater issues in the area. As the project enters phase two, developers are working the kinks out.

Coroner identifies inmate who died in Charleston Co. jail custody
NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) - The Charleston County Coroner’s Office released the name of the inmate who died in custody of the Charleston County Detention Center. Forrest Kreider, 33, from Michigan, died at MUSC on Wednesday at 7:06 p.m., Coroner Bobbi Jo O’Neal said. He had been found unresponsive at the jail following what the sheriff’s office called an apparent suicide.
