OTTAWA COUNTY, MI – Every morning on his 10-minute drive to work, Terry Dykstra says a little prayer. The Jenison Senior High School counselor prays he will be able to provide some support, comfort or encouragement to the children he works with each day. By the time he gets home at the end of the day, Dykstra hopes he can identify at least one student he was able to have a positive impact on.
